Privacy Policy

ISHI collects only what it needs to run the program, does not sell your information, and lets you ask to see or delete it.
What ISHI collects

How ISHI uses it
To run the course, issue and verify certificates, answer your questions, and send program updates. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
The website and course platform use cookies, small files stored by your browser. Necessary cookies keep you logged in and remember your course progress; the site does not work without them. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics help ISHI understand how the site is used. Advertising cookies from Meta (Instagram and Facebook) let ISHI measure its ads and show ISHI ads to people who visited the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the course may then stop working. See the Cookie Policy for details and opt-out links.
Who ISHI shares it with
Only the services that run and promote the program: LearnWorlds (course platform), Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email and forms), Zoom (exams), a print or mail service for certificates, Google Analytics (site statistics), and Meta (Instagram and Facebook advertising). Google and Meta receive information about how you use the website through cookies, not your course records, exam results, or payment details. ISHI does not sell or rent personal information. You can opt out of ad tracking at any time (see the Cookie Policy), or email [email protected] and ISHI will help.
If the business changes hands
If ISHI LLC, or the CSHS program, is sold or transferred to another owner, student records and certificate records may be transferred with it, so that certificates can still be verified. The new owner must use them under this policy. ISHI will tell you by email before the transfer, and you may ask for your information to be deleted instead, except the record that you hold a valid certificate.
How long ISHI keeps it
ISHI keeps your student and certificate records for as long as the program runs, so that your certificate can be verified. Exam recordings are deleted after 90 days. Application information from applicants who do not enroll is deleted after 12 months.
Certificate verification
If an employer or client asks, ISHI may confirm whether a person holds a valid CSHS and the date it was issued. Nothing else is shared without your consent.
Your choices and rights
You can ask ISHI to show you, correct, or delete your information, or to stop marketing emails. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. ISHI keeps the records it needs to verify certificates and meet tax and legal duties, even after a deletion request.
Security
ISHI uses the security of its service providers and limits access to student records to ISHI staff who need them.
Changes to this policy
ISHI may update this policy. The new version and its effective date will be posted on this page, and enrolled students will be told by email about any important change.
